HSLA Submission on the Review of Health and Safety and the Compensation Culture

As you are all no doubt aware, Lord Young has been tasked by the Coalition Government to head a commission to re-evaluate the extent of health and safety legislation.

The HSLA has been invitied to participate on the Consultation and after seeking its Members' views, a 7 page Submission has been produced.

The Submission can be accessed by all Members through the "members section", "document library", "consultation documents".

 

HSLA "Transport Safety" Event - Monday 22 March 2010

The recent HSLA training event, titled Transport Safety, was held on Monday 22 March at Hammonds' London office, 7 Devonshire Square, London, EC2M 4YH .

Speakers were Tim Nesbitt, Outer Temple Chambers, and Andrew Sanderson, Hammonds.

The feedback was that the afternoon was very enjoyable and informative so thanks to our two speakers for their time and efforts.
